LEARN SPANISH IN TAMBOPATA
Spanish in the Peruvian Rainforest
As a nice and challenging change for living and studying Spanish in Cusco, we also organize Spanish classes in the Rainforest of Peru. This is a complete program of one week, including Spanish classes, accommodation, transport by boat, all meals and daily tours and other activitites.
Tambopata National Reserve
This Spanish program is organized in the Tambopata area in the Peruvian jungle, one of the most bio-diverse areas of the world, well known for its great wild life opportunities. Here we can see many monkeys, capibaras, tapirs, giant river otters ad black caimans. Learn about this unique aspect of Peru and live with us in the Peruvian jungle for one complete week, studying Spanish. We will also visit a community of native people in a traditional community along the Tambopata river. Other unique spots in this area are the famous Sandoval Lake – well known for its wide diversity of wildlife including parrots, macaws and turtles, and the Macaw’s clay lick. This clay lick is a unique spectacle you will not want to miss: here you can spot and take pictures of thousands of parrots, macaws and parakeets that come to meet here, and lick the clay to feed themselves.
The schedule of our Spanish classes may vary, according to the activities programmed for that particular day. All itineraries are subject to change as we depend a lot on the weather. But generally after a week, we have completed the whole program, including a 20 hour Spanish group course with daily activitites.
During this week of Spanish immersion in jungle of Peru, we will stay in a beautiful Rainforest lodge besides the flowing Tambopata river with many bungalows with bathrooms, common spaces and lovely garden. All meals are included during the whole week, finalizing with a lovely breakfast with many local ingredients on the last day, before departure by boat, first to the city Puerto Maldonado and from here, to Cusco city by bus or plane.
Spanish Course in Tambopata
Group courses are offered in combination with excursions in the jungle with an experienced guide. Part of the conversation topics in class will be adapted to the environment and studying the ecology of the amazing tropical rainforest of Tambopata.
